I loved the nightlife I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I loved the nightlife setting in the book, the author did a good job of describing the bar scene and the types of characters you find in the nightlife.

There were times when I got confused during the story, especially when the author kept jumping back and forth between the past and the present. Also, there were some parts that I felt slowed the story down and when that happened I felt it was hard to continue reading and I had to take a little break before I picked the story back up. I really enjoyed this novel by Shai Amit. There is no denying this author is overflowing with talent. From the first page, I was drawn in. The storyline was compelling and the characters were very real. I found this read to be refreshing. Amit's style is unique and I found myself stopping at times to take in the nuances of the writing. This is a story of self discovery and recovery. We follow Amit, the main character from early beginnings throughout his life and the experiences he has.

🌈 Writing Your Story: LGBTQ Books & Coming of Age

This is a really good book. It is written well and they translated it well into English. This author knows how to right a great book and really kept up a nice pace. Tender has a bunch of ups and downs and includes an amazing romance story. I read this quickly, not because the pace was steady or the writing was good, but because I really got sucked into the story and had to know what happened next.

In a love story that evokes the blues, where passion and sadness are inevitably intertwined, Baldwin has created two characters so alive and profoundly realized that they are unforgettably ingrained in the American psyche.
